Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish musician and singer. Corr made her debut in 1990, as lead singer for The Corrs, a Celtic pop-rock and rock band The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and their three older siblings. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland and is a singer-songwriter actress, musician, and performer. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire has been awarded to her. She is popular for the Celtic and pop-rock group The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the Corrs, she is also the group's leader. Andrea began her professional career as an actress in 1991. She later became a musician and stage artist. She performed as an accompanying singer in the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted performer. She has six studio albums two compilation albums and two live albums and one remix. Furthermore, she has also received awards to support her charitable work. Andrea is married and has two children to her stockbroker. Andrea started her music lessons with the tin-whistle. Gerry taught her how to play the piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Her teenage years were spent developing her talents in music. She teamed up with her sisters and brothers in order to sing for the group. Andrea was often a part of the school's musicals. She went to in Dun Lughaidh Convent.
